Our current areas of focus:

• Renewable Energy
  DanChurchAid & a2i are working on developing a small compact and sustainable generator that can be operated on local ressources such as solar panels, windmills or bio fuel in third world countries. One of the aims is to keep the generator light and simple.
• Mine Clearing – Eye in the sky
  With support from DanChurchAid and a2i, Sky-Watch has developed an airborne GPS that can help detect minefield danger areas from the sky without the risk of sending out people. The GPS has an inbuild camera that provides essential information to the ongoing combat of explosive minefields.
• ICT Solutions
  Three Danish companies with the right expertise are working on developing a handheld PDA that is easy to use in the field and that can connect to main databases in areas where GSM coverage is sparse.
• Sustainable Biogas Production
  KomTek Miljø and Daninco is providing their expertise in developing sustainable biogas production in Bangladesh. DanChurchAid’s partnerorganisation RDRS is providing local knowledge and network information in order to locally integrate the project.
