By combining the knowledge of end-users, civil society organizations, universities and the commercial world, access2innovation (a2i) provides a key to mainstreaming best practice solutions or generating innovative, low-cost solutions for people in developing countries.
We can’t solve all the structural difficulties around the world, but we can shorten the distance between concrete demand, experience and innovative solution significantly.
Access2innovation is a strategic partnership between DanChurchAid (Folkekirkens Nødhjælp), Aalborg University, commercial companies and local authorities in Denmark – with a global perspective. The aim of the partnership is to:
- develop innovative products and solutions that target specific, urgent demands in developing countries
- gain access to new fields of research
- penetrate new and virtually untilled markets
