Partnerships between Aalborg University, Aalborg Municipality and private companies in northern Jutland will serve as an inspiration to public administrators in Kenya.
access2innovation has been pointing out to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs how university researchers, private companies and Aalborg Municipality work together to promote sustainable growth in northern Jutland.
As a result of this, Danida will now be using Aalborg as one of two showcase cities for high-ranking Kenyan administrators through the Danida Fellowship Centre.
The members of the Kenyan administration are focusing on green, sustainable industrial development. They will be visiting private companies, public administration and the university in Aalborg to learn more about spatial planning, industrial development with high environmental standards, resource efficiency and citizen communication.
Following up on the visit, access2innovation will be facilitating a delegation trip to Kenya for private companies from Denmark in the spring of 2019.
More information on this TBA later.
