This year you will be able to meet the access2innovation secretariat at ”Folkemødet” – a policy festival at Bornholm.
Folkemødet or “The People’s Meeting” has been an annual event since 2011.
It brings together high ranking politicians, civil organisations, unions, authorities, artists, journalists and other citizens in a four-day celebration of open democracy, debate and free speech.
Last year, an average of 25.000 people attended the festival every day.
Global Focus, NovoZymes and access2innovation co-host the event “Partnerships – the Key to Success or the Emperor’s New Clothes?” – a discussion of cross sector partnership potentials in relation to solving climate, poverty, health and education issues and the value of partnerships in light of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The panel will consist of Birgitte Qvist-Sørensen, secretary general at DanChurchAid, CEO Peder Holk Nielsen from Novozymes, WWF secretary general Bo Øksnebjerg, CEO Pernille Skjødt from Link Aiders and access2innovation CEO Jacob Ravn.
Based on recent experiences the panel will also be talking about sustainable growth and business potentials as well as the obvious pitfalls and dilemmas that relate to the subject.
The event will take place at the SDG-tent on Saturday, June 17th from 10.15 – 11.15.
