From June 18th – 22nd 2012, access2innovation will be visiting WWF in Uganda to help map out possible energy challenges in the Kasese District near the Congolese border.
WWF has chosen the district as a champion District with the aim of making it CO2 neutral by 2030.
During the week, access2innovation will be facilitating workshops with a variety of interested stakeholders from the NGO, private and educational sectors – including Energiby Frederikshavn from Denmark who will be joining access2innovation on the trip.
The expected outcome is the identification of 2-3 concrete challenges that can be presented to interested Danish companies who wish to develop innovative solutions within the partnership later this year.
Further information and video documentation of the identified challenges will be available at the access2innovation website later.
