The World Wildlife Foundation and access2innovation has identified several potential business cases for sustainable energy in Uganda’s Kasese District.
During a trip to Kasese earlier this summer, access2innovation, the Confederation of Danish Industry and Energy City Frederikshavn conducted a series of workshops along with local WWF partners in the Kasese Green Energy Champion District.
The champion district-project aims at making the district CO2-neutral by 2030.
Naturally, this constitutes a number of challenges – and a number of possibilities for cooperation with Danish companies and scientists.
Concept notes for the identified cases will be available shortly.
